Audio Visual Intern

Boston, Massachusetts, United States Part-time

We are looking for a part-time A/V intern to help us expand our social and media efforts. 

Projects:

You will be responsible for working on A/V projects from start to finish. 

Our main projects include a weekly podcast series and a two-camera video interview series. Other projects may include: filming and editing promotional videos, photographing events and office life, setting up live streams for tutorials, and researching the best ways to release different types of content. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule times to film with the appropriate people. 
  • Make reservations and rent equipment for each project.
  • Set up, film, and strike each shoot.
  • Edit the footage.
  • Work on promotion/marketing plan for projects.
  • Upload and release each piece of content at the necessary time.
  • Help with small tasks such as scheduling social media or mailing packages.

This internship will help you gain hands-on experience with all aspects of Audio-Visual projects, make connections with all different types of professionals, and get experience in a startup environment.

The internship is paid with a 10-15 hrs per week schedule. 

Requirements

  • Currently attending college.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.

Preferences

  • Film students preferred.
  • Owning a DSLR Camera & Tripod preferred, but not necessary.
  • Access to school equipment (camera, sound, lighting) preferred.
